Spirit Newspaper Article: Lacey's Law

I just wanted to share a link to a story I've written recently for the Spirit Community Newspapers about my cousin Lacey and her legacy. Please click the link below.

On Sunday, October 10, 2010, we will be holding the Fourth Annual Lacey Day at Holy Name Church at Gaul and Berks Streets. It's always a huge fantastic block party, inside and outside. The Doo Wop group, The Exceptions will be singing live. There are great prizes, food, drink, and a huge group of positive people coming together to celebrate Lacey's life. Sketches of Fishtown # 67 - Lacey Gallagher

This week marks the anniversary of my cousin Lacey's passing. Her death has not only affected my family, but so many others in the area. We did get some good news today about House Bill 67 passing in the House of Representatives. Although nothing can ever heal the pain of losing her, you have to look for the good things to hang onto. Please visit her website to learn more about her: www.thelaceyfund.org. She was really an extraordinary young girl.
