Sam Heimer curated the latest group show at Masthead in Northern Liberties entitled "A Nation of Evil Men". The title of the show is self explanatory. Sam sent out a list of "evil" men and women from history. I picked Rasputin, who has fascinated me for years. When I look at this piece, I started to see the influence of Mort Drucker, classic MAD Magazine artist. I never realized how much those MAD Magazines have influenced me, but I've read hundreds in my youth. I guess I can't avoid it weaving its way through my work.

I'm a Sergio Argones man myself. Love his goofy ponytail and those lil' animations from Bloopers and Bleepers were the bomb. Piece looks great,you guys were missed last night. A good time was had by all.
